Summary

Develops work schedules for maintenance, facilities and outside contractors that provide the most efficient service to the production departments by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

Provides effective scheduling of daily maintenance and facility work.

Develops and coordinates information for long range planning of maintenance/facility activities.

Works closely with production departments to develop/plan equipment downtime schedules and repairs.

Works closely with Engineering Department to develop/plan project work completion.

Follows job work instructions.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Additional training will be provided as needed.

Certificates and Licenses

Valid driver's license.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises Facilities Supervisors.
