General Cleaner

NOW HIRING – 1ST SHIFT GENERAL CLEANER

Location:

Whitestown Pay: $16.00/HR

Schedule:

Monday–Friday Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Overview:

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. This role includes performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure the daily upkeep and overall cleanliness of the facility.

Essential Functions:

• Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, and vacuuming
• Carpet extraction, floor stripping, and waxing
• Trash removal and recycling
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms
• Polishing areas within 10 feet of entryways
• Washing windows and cleaning interior glass
• Cleaning desks, walls, furniture, doors, countertops, boards, blinds, and light fixtures
• Snow and ice removal (as needed)
• Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Reliable transportation (required)
• Strong work history
• Team-oriented with the ability to take direction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Attention to detail and efficiency
• Must pass a background check
• Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience REQUIRED

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred (not required)
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus

Physical &

Working Conditions:

• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Extensive walking and standing throughout the shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments)
• Must maintain productivity within established time frames
