Director of Buildings & Grounds — Avondale Meadows YMCA Full‑Time | Exempt
Pay Range: $43,888–$53,332
Love keeping buildings running smoothly? Love leading a team that takes pride in their work? The Avondale Meadows YMCA is looking for a high‑energy, hands‑on Director of Buildings & Grounds to help us maintain a clean, safe, welcoming facility for our members and staff.
You’ll oversee 5–8 part‑time team members, manage daily cleaning operations, handle minor maintenance, and jump in when needed to keep the building in top shape. This role blends leadership with hands‑on work — perfect for someone who likes to stay active and solve problems on the spot.
What You’ll Lead- Budget + inventory management
- 3–5 years custodial/maintenance experience
- Experience supervising staff
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs
- Comfort with cleaning equipment, hand tools, and basic machinery
- CPR/AED/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
