Location:
300 Dewey Street, Argos, Indiana 46501.
Work Shift:
Salary Exempt (United States of America).
- Lead and manage a team of mechanical and electrical personnel in safe and effective maintenance procedures.
- Develop and oversee a maintenance program that incorporates preventative and routine activities to minimize machine downtime.
- Direct mechanical staff in repairs or rebuild of equipment to avoid breakdowns, ensuring safe completion and accurate documentation.
- Oversee training requirements and professional development of the maintenance team.
- Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems, devising solutions when necessary.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintain parts inventory system.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
- Set goals and objectives for the maintenance department aligned with plant and business goals.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Improve equipment availability and advance preventative and predictive maintenance programs to achieve plant reliability excellence.
- Utilize maintenance technicians and equipment efficiently, advancing planning and scheduling processes.
- Initiate and drive improvements via training programs, capital projects, and other means to focus on productivity and control of maintenance and capital spend.
- Analyze maintenance problems and devise and implement corrective action plans.
- Evaluate employee performance to determine training needs and development opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
- 5+ years of experience as a plant-wide Maintenance Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline preferred.
- Experience in injection molding or foaming preferred.
- PLC experience is a plus.
