About the Role
As a CBRE Maintenance Planner & Scheduler, you’ll play a key role in keeping facility operations running smoothly. You’ll review and prioritize incoming work orders, coordinate scheduling by trade and urgency, and support the engineering team with accurate work order entry and updates. Your work helps ensure that preventive maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and on time.
This is a fully onsite position, Monday through Friday, based in Indianapolis, IN.
What You’ll Do- Align with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide solutions.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
- Work closely with Technicians to stage materials, permits, tools, and other resources necessary to accomplish the work in the most productive manner possible.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Prior experience with job planning, scheduling and oversight of maintenance projects preferred.
- GMARs or other CMMS systems experience preferred.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
