At JW Hicks, we are looking for talented individuals to join our growing team in Knox, Indiana. Currently we are looking to add an Experienced Maintenance Technician
. We have a passion for producing the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for "Doing it Right."

• Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and plant equipment per the company's preventative maintenance program
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and replace defective components, ensuring proper testing and adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics for equipment servicing

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including PLCs and power systems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively
• Experience with robotics a plus
• Must pass a post-offer drug screen and physical prior to employment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
