Fed Ex Ground is hiring a Senior Conveyor Mechanic at our Indianapolis hub. As a senior-level technician, you will lead conveyor breakdown responses, mentor junior mechanics, plan and execute major repair projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime across belt, roller, and chain conveyor systems.
Requirements- 5+ years of conveyor maintenance experience in a sortation or distribution environment
- Leadership experience mentoring or training junior technicians
- Advanced troubleshooting of VFDs, servo drives, and motor control circuits
- Experience with conveyor design modifications and improvement projects
- Journeyman-level mechanical skills
- CMMS proficiency (Maximo, SAP PM, or similar)
