Rate: $13-14 (Experience Considered)

The Part‑Time Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained environment for members, program participants, staff, and guests. This position performs routine custodial duties, assists with facility upkeep, and supports the YMCA's commitment to providing a positive member experience. A detailed daily checklist of cleaning duties will be followed.

• Cleaning all areas of the building within realm of responsibility.
• Cleaning cardio and weight equipment.
• Dusting and detail cleaning.
• Vacuuming carpeted areas.
• Toilet and shower scrubbing and sanitizing.
• Informing supervisor of cleaning supply inventory and supplies needed.
• Snow removal from sidewalks, entrances, emergency exits; salting sidewalks, entrances, and parking lot handicap spots as needed.
• Landscaping help on all YMCA property.
• All other duties assigned.

• One to two years related experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

• Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds and use various floor cleaning machines.
