AWS/CES is looking for a Janitorial Supervisor - $23/Hour - Roanoke, IN
Type:
Temp-to-Hire
Available Shifts
1st Shift (1 Position)
Saturday-Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Weekend availability required
Two scheduled days off during the week
2nd Shift (1 Position)
Friday-Tuesday, 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Weekend availability required
Two scheduled days off during the week
3rd Shift (1 Position)
10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Weekend availability required
Two scheduled days off during the week
We are seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to lead and coordinate a team of cleaning staff in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of commercial and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities
Interview, hire, and train staff
Plan, assign, and direct work schedules
Inspect work to ensure it meets company standards
Investigate and resolve complaints about services or equipment
Inspect facilities to determine maintenance and cleaning needs
Coordinate with other departments for efficient service delivery
Ensure cleaning equipment is in proper working order
Instruct staff on work policies, procedures, and equipment use
Perform cleaning duties as needed
Select suitable cleaning materials for various surfaces and fabrics
Work Environment
Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving machinery, high places, fumes, chemicals, and varying outdoor weather
Potential for extreme cold/heat and loud noise levels
Physical Requirements
Regular standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Qualifications
Associate's degree (or equivalent) preferred
6 months to 1 year of related supervisory experience, or a combination of education and experience
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
