Lead Custodian Supervisor

Job Description

Oversee daily cleaning responsibilities of custodians.

Experience:

• At least 3 years in the custodial field. Requires intermediate knowledge of cleaning terms and safety procedures related to hazardous chemicals.

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED

• The Supervisor will be responsible for training and overseeing of the daily custodian operations in the academic buildings anddorms.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of 1st & 3rd shift
  
  Custodians.
• Regular communication with the manager is required, including at least two (2) daily check-ins to review progress, address challenges, communicate needs or concerns, or confirm next stepsfor tasks or projects.
• Provide guidance, training and mentorship to employees and address employee issues.
• Inspect, evaluate and provide feedback to team members.
• Ensure all employees are adhering to company policies, industry regulations and safety guidelines.
• Participate in leadership and staff meetings to communicate objectives and share updates.
• Approve attendance and Web Time Entry.
• Assign relief custodians to fill in for absentee workers.
• Follow the guidance and direction of the Manager.
• Other duties, including special projects, as required or assigned.
