Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall condition of the facility’s physical environment. This role performs a variety of maintenance, repair, and groundskeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Breckenridge Commons is an assisted living facility located in Sullivan, Indiana. Breckenridge Commons is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care for our residents.

Breckenridge Commons is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to-

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Lawn care, snow removal, and assisting maintenance department as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Handle basic repairs and maintenance.

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• Strong organizational and follow up skills.
• Eye for detail.
• Professional presentation and attitude.
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
• Strong time management skills.
