Janitorial Supervisor

AWS/CES is looking for a Janitorial Supervisor – $25/Hour – Roanoke, IN

Available Shifts

• 2nd Shift: Friday-Tuesday, 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: Wed – Sat 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

We are seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to lead and coordinate a team of cleaning staff in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of commercial and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities
• Interview, hire, and train staff
• Plan, assign, and direct work schedules
• Inspect work to ensure it meets company standards
• Investigate and resolve complaints about services or equipment
• Inspect facilities to determine maintenance and cleaning needs
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient service delivery
• Ensure cleaning equipment is in proper working order
• Instruct staff on work policies, procedures, and equipment use
• Perform cleaning duties as needed
  
  Select suitable cleaning materials for various surfaces and fabrics
• Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving machinery, high places, fumes, chemicals, and varying outdoor weather
• Potential for extreme cold/heat and loud noise levels

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of related supervisory experience, or a combination of education and experience
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
