Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors in New Haven, IN. This position is responsible for performing daily custodial and light maintenance duties throughout an assigned school facility while following district cleaning and safety standards.
Hours & PayHours:
2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Pay: $20.52
- Clean and maintain assigned areas of the building, including classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, locker rooms, stairwells, lounges, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and disinfect floors and other surfaces according to district standards.
- Operate and properly maintain custodial equipment, including floor scrubbers, I-mops, vacuums, carpet extractors, and other cleaning equipment.
- Safely mix, handle, and use cleaning chemicals according to established procedures.
- Dust furniture, windowsills, ledges, equipment, and high surfaces.
- Clean interior and exterior windows, mirrors, doors, and glass panels.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
