The Maintenance Technician III will be responsible for the designated repairs, duties and minor equipment maintenance. This may include working with cleaning chemicals, small machines, maintenance and related equipment.

• Performs minor equipment maintenance and manual labor as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Department Director.
• May oversee special projects assigned by the Association Director of Buildings and Property.
• May train or provide guidance to other Center Maintenance staff teams on assigned projects.
• Assist Maintenance, Buildings & Grounds staff in conducting weekly equipment and safety checks.
• Minor equipment maintenance and repair and moving equipment and heavy objects from one location to another as needed.
• Perform other duties and assignments as needed at the YMCA.

• Must at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma, or its equivalent.
• Must have a minimum 2 years related experience.
• Must be able to acquire certifications in First Aid.
• Completion of all position specific and mandatory YMCA training within specific training deadlines.
