The Site Services - Indianapolis coordinates all on-site non-process related maintenance and participates in shutdown supervision of laborers. This position works closely with the Maintenance Manager and Bulk Movement Manager to provide support maintaining the respective areas. This position will be responsible for maintaining the site buildings and grounds area.
Essential Duties- Maintain building and grounds area.
- Coordinate grading, paving and concreting activities around the site
- Coordinate laborers in non-shutdown activities including clean up and site maintenance activities
- Coordinate work activities with the Maintenance Manager and Bulk Movement Manager
- Coordinate laborers during shutdown
- Obtain service quotes
- Assist in cost estimate preparation for repairs
- Monitoring time sheets for contractors/ laborers
- Track costs and work completed versus budgeted costs
- Manage pest control for facility
- Manage lawn maintenance for facility
- Maintain fuel needed onsite (gasoline and diesel)
- Receive and organize deliveries from UPS, Fedex, etc…

- Competent in Maintenance practices
- Adheres to established schedules and deadlines
- Ability to effectively interact with management, other members of department and vendors.
- Functions within established corporate and regulatory guidelines
- Written, verbal and computer communication abilities
- Present a positive image of Heritage-Crystal Clean to fellow employees, external contacts, the general public
- Experience as a maintenance supervisor or facility maintenance supervisor
- Experience in grading, paving, concreting, lawn maintenance, and/or pest control.
- Maintenance management experience preferred
- GED or equivalent
- Supervision skills
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook Required
- Excellent communicator
Work Environment:
While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works both outdoors and indoors, with moderate physical activity including, walking, lifting objects up to 30 pounds and climbing. Individual will be required to regularly talk, hear, see and often reach with hands, stand, walk, use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment. Noise level of the environment is variable, but generally not quiet.
