Senior Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations within a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the reliability and performance of production equipment, facility assets, utilities, buildings, and grounds while driving a proactive maintenance culture focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance leadership, capital project management, asset reliability, budgeting, and developing high-performing maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for maintenance supervisors, technicians, planners, and support personnel.
• Drive a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to achieve operational KPIs, production goals, and annual business objectives.
• Manage department operating and capital budgets while aligning spending with production demands and business needs.
• Lead maintenance planning and scheduling efforts to ensure efficient utilization of labor and resources.
• Oversee capital projects from concept through implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and outside service providers to support maintenance and project activities.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve asset reliability and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with company safety programs, quality standards, ISO requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, audits, and management system requirements.

• 5+ years of Maintenance Manager experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams and developing technical talent.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated production systems.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Demonstrated success managing maintenance budgets and capital expenditures.
• Experience planning and executing capital improvement projects.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Experience with in food, beverage, dairy, bakery, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or other high-speed manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, controls systems, and PLC networking.
• Experience with SAP Maintenance or other CMMS platforms.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and proactive maintenance systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 7+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience.
