Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee maintenance operations, ensuring equipment, machinery, and facility systems remain safe, reliable, and operational. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience, and the ability to manage a maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and develop maintenance personnel.
- Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Prioritize maintenance work orders and respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Monitor spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
- Work closely with Production to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and maintenance procedures.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- High school diploma/GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
