** About this position*
* Responsible for general maintenance throughout the hotel.

** A little taste of your day-to-day*

+ Creating a safe, secure and comfortable environment for our guests to enjoy

+ Maintaining preventative maintenance and supplies whilst minimizing waste and meeting our green initiatives

+ Being flexible torespondto ad-hoc dutieswherewehavetounexpectedly pull togethertoget a task completed

+ Coordinating with other departments to minimize disruptions and support smooth hotel operations.

+ Overseeing repairs, replacements, and refurbishment projects

+ Ensuring all interior and exterior areas remain safe, clean, and fully operational, proactively identifying issues before they impact guest

** What we need from you*
* + At least 2-3 years of maintenance or repair work under your belt

+ A high school diploma or related vocational training

+ On top of building equipment and hand tools, you'll have a working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics and preventative maintenance procedures

+ A reasonable level of fitness as you'll be on your feet most of the day, and will need to bend and kneel a lot

+ Great communication skills, you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to

+ Hotel experience is a plus
