BG Staffing is actively seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Apartment Maintenance Technician to support one of our residential communities in the Indianapolis area. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy hands-on tasks, and are looking for a consistent weekday schedule.
Position Overview
As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property. This role involves completing routine work orders, assisting with unit turns, and ensuring apartments are clean, safe, and ready for residents.
Schedule & Compensation
* Schedule:
Monday through Friday
* Hours:
9:30 AM - 5:00 PM
* Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
This position offers steady hours with a predictable weekday schedule, allowing for a strong work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete routine maintenance work orders in a timely and efficient manner
* Perform apartment turns, including cleaning and preparing units for new residents
* Conduct punch work to ensure units meet move-in standards
* Assist with general maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and upkeep
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and needs
Qualifications & Requirements
* Must have reliable transportation to travel to and from the job site consistently
* Previous apartment maintenance or general labor experience preferred, but not required
* Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
* Strong attention to detail, especially when completing cleaning and punch work
* Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude

* Employees must wear clean, presentable work attire
* Clothing should be free of vulgar language, graphics, or imagery
* No ripped or excessively worn clothing permitted
* Maintain a professional appearance while representing BG Staffing on-site
