Republic Services - - Responsibilities:
Maintain advanced knowledge of Polymer Center sorting/grinding/washing equipment and mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to perform preventive and corrective maintenance;
Perform repairs and maintenance on Polymer Center equipment including conveyors, screens, reducers, balers, optical sorting units, magnetic separators, dust collectors, grinders/granulators, PET wash line equipment, and related material handling equipment;
Schedule repair work for the maintenance group to ensure safety and timely completion, reducing lost productivity;
Troubleshoot and maintain complex electromechanical equipment and program simple PLC instructions as requested by operations staff;
Follow all safety policies and procedures and complete field service reports in a work order system
