Responsibilities

General buildings upkeep by performing minor maintenance and janitorial duties as needed to provide safe and sanitary buildings for the Koorsen Indianapolis campus
Sweep, mop, wax floors, and shampoo carpets; pick up litter and trash; clean restrooms
Maintain the appearance of the grounds by sweeping debris, shoveling snow, cutting grass, trimming trees and shrubs
Perform minor maintenance duties such as changing or cleaning lights; replacing vacuum cleaner belts; unstopping toilets and sinks, and changing ceiling or carpet tiles
Gather shred bins documents to be ready for pickup
Ensure 01 building doors are secured; check for unauthorized persons in the building and call security if needed
Maintain care of assigned equipment and work areas
Move and unloads supplies and equipment
Any other assigned duties
Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner
Open to continual learning
Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices
Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values
Any other duties deemed appropriate by management

Required:

Pass drug and background screenings
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand for long periods
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly
Must be able to push and pull greater than 75 lbs. as needed
Must be able to climb ladders
Must be able to perform some repetitive motions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear

Hiring Process (in addition to an interview):
