Maintenance Associate

Sevita is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help keep our home and community-based care settings safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. In this role, you will perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and basic upkeep of equipment, rooms, and common areas across our facilities. Responsibilities include completing work orders, assisting with minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks, and promptly addressing safety or maintenance concerns.

You will collaborate with care teams to minimize disruption to individuals while maintaining a clean, functional environment that supports their well-being. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and basic upkeep in Sevita residential and care facilities
• Inspect equipment, fixtures, and building systems to identify maintenance needs and safety issues
• Complete work orders promptly while minimizing disruption to individuals and staff
• Assist with minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks as needed
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized common areas, rooms, and outdoor spaces
• Monitor and report hazards, equipment failures, and supply needs to supervisors
• Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines in all maintenance activities
• Collaborate with care staff to support a safe, comfortable environment for individuals
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Support emergency response efforts such as power outages or urgent repairs
