Maintenance Manager

Superior Metal Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management for our manufacturing facility. This role oversees a team of technicians, plans and prioritizes preventive and corrective maintenance, and manages critical production assets to ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and safety. The Maintenance Manager develops and executes maintenance strategies, manages budgets, coordinates contractors, drives root cause analysis and continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a fast-paced metal manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and support staff
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and facility issues to minimize downtime
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance work orders and shutdowns
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement of equipment reliability
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, and upgrades of production equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, KPIs, and asset documentation
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality to support plant goals
