Building Maintenance
Location: Ida Grove
Hiring a full time Maintenance Technician. Position is Monday-Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
, with some night and weekend on-call rotation. Executes preventive maintenance schedules, is alert to needed repairs and replacements, and routinely inspects equipment and grounds. Assists in maintenance of buildings, property and equipment. Handles and manipulates tools and equipment. Complies with building and safety codes. May do some carpentry and other related work.
Must live within 20 minutes of the hospital. Position will also manage the hospital Emergency Preparedness Plan and may act as security, performing security checks and other related duties.
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be familiar with building maintenance, equipment, operation of plumbing and heating, electrical, fire, and safety regulations. Must have good knowledge to detect malfunctioning equipment.
Applicant must pass a background check, health assessment including applicable vaccinations, and drug screen before hiring. Position open until filled.
