Job Title:

Maintenance Technician, Multifamily Cimarron

The Maintenance Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move‑ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention to the resident. The Maintenance Technician responds to our residents' service needs and is instrumental in helping deliver superior customer service to our residents.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
  • Prepares make‑ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and any necessary tasks to provide residents with a quality move‑in experience.
  • Responds to resident requests in a timely manner and with a professional attitude.
  • Has knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, painting, and snow removal (if applicable).
  • Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to remain clean, operational, and safe for residents.
  • Participates in on‑call scheduling to respond to after‑hour emergencies as required.
  • Reports any maintenance concerns in vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Applies state, local, and federal fair housing laws and attends required training programs.
  • Performs all duties as assigned in a timely manner, delivering superior customer service and representing the company professionally.
  • Wears Cushman & Wakefield uniform and maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintains all safety procedures and safeguards company tools and equipment.
  • Achieves high productivity through reliable and punctual on‑site attendance, reporting any tardiness or attendance issues to the supervisor.
  • Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
COMPETENCIES
  • Valid driver's license.
  • EPA 608 certification – Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate.
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and prepare and interpret bar graphs.
  • Problem‑solving skills for routine situations involving several known variables.
  • Common sense and instruction-following ability for written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
  • Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence while following all safety procedures.
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
EXPERIENCE
  • 1+ years of related experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees may need to stand and walk for extended periods, ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and step stools, and travel outdoors between properties in varying weather conditions. Work may require remaining stationary (sitting or standing) for 85% of the time, operating office machinery, and traveling up to 10% of the time. Employees must be able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally or frequently and/or continuously to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Compensation ranges from $18.70 to $22.00 per hour, depending on location, eligibility, and experience.
