Auto Detailer - ADESA Grimes

Job Summary

The Detailers role prepares vehicles for auction by performing a range of reconditioning tasks, including interior detailing, upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, pre-wash, buffing, and quality control.

Hourly Rate: $16.00

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00‑5:00;
Tuesday 7:30‑12:00

• Work in team units tasked with vehicle cleaning, detailing, and sale-ready preparation.
• Learn and apply proper techniques for exterior and interior cleaning processes.
• Learn and apply vehicle inspection techniques to maintain proper standards.
• Prepare for advanced techniques.

• Physical activity:
  Light to medium work. Frequent standing, watching, touching, listening, walking, talking; occasional running, jumping, etc.
• Visual acuity for color, depth perception, and field of vision comparable to clerical and machine operator positions.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
