Engineer - Facilities

The engineer is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the facility, as well as providing outstanding guest service to internal and external guests.

• Ensure consistent high-quality service to all team members and guests.
• Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities on property.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC system, alarm system, and generators. Perform routine maintenance.
• Perform basic painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects related to maintenance of the property.
• Maintain, repair, and replace gaming table layouts with instructions provided by supervisor.

• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible work schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Professional demeanor and presence; ability to interact with guests and team members.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
• Two years of maintenance experience (preferred).
• Excellent guest service skills to effectively deal with guests.
