Maintenance Technician – Senior Living Community

$18.00–$23.40/hour | Full-Time Days

This hands‑on role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, groundskeeping, and transportation support throughout the community.

• Competitive Pay: $18.00–$23.40 per hour (credit for experience)

  Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with on‑call rotation

• Complete maintenance work orders and preventative maintenance tasks
• Perform repairs on building systems, equipment, lighting, plumbing, and fixtures
• Assist with apartment turnovers and resident move‑ins
• Support groundskeeping activities, including seasonal maintenance as needed
• Monitor and maintain facility safety systems and equipment
• Operate community vehicles, including wheelchair‑accessible vans and buses, for resident transportation
• Respond to on‑call maintenance needs as assigned
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Basic computer skills
• Must be willing to operate a wheelchair‑accessible van or bus for resident transportation

• Previous maintenance experience
• Chauffeur License preferred

• Weekends are generally not required; however, team members may occasionally be scheduled on weekends when assigned to the on‑call rotation.
