This position is a District level position which includes managing the District Print Shop, many District deliveries including mail, Partnership meals and print materials, etc. In addition, this position will include custodial support at multiple District buildings.

Hours 9:30 am - 6:30pm

Title: District Delivery, Print Specialist and District Custodial

FT/PT: Full Time

Reports to: District Directors

Pay Rate: $16.50 (or commensurate based on experience)

Job Summary: This position combines three part time tasks into one full time position.

District Delivery Services: Responsible for the timely collection, sorting, and transportation of mail, packages and supplies between district buildings and other district delivery services as needed.

Print Specialist: Provide printing services as needed for school personnel for instruction, special meetings, etc. and deliver the completed materials within established timelines.

District Custodial: Responsible for preserving the cleanliness and operational order of multiple district facilities.

Essential Functions of District Delivery Services

• District Mail:
  Collect, sort, and distribute internal administrative mail, payroll, and curriculum materials between district buildings & campuses.
• U.S. Mail Operations:
  Meter postage and deliver local U.S. Post Office mail/packages from District buildings to the Post Office.
• Nutrition Services Support:
  Deliver meals and cafeteria supplies to District buildings, adhering to food safety and temperature control timeline standards.
• Special Event Setup:
  Assist with transporting equipment for district events as needed.
• Courier Duties:
  Transport confidential documents including: student records & transport secure bank deposit bags.
• Routine District Vehicle Care:
  Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and maintain the cleanliness of the district vehicle.

Essential Functions of the Print Specialist

• Prepares print materials to specification for the purpose of providing materials needed by school personnel.
• Ensure timely and accurate reproduction of printed materials.
• Coordinates and prioritizes production of work orders.
• Understands copyright regulations.
• Inspects copied jobs for the purpose of completing jobs within requested specifications, quality standards and quantity requirements.
• Maintains accurate and complete copying records and reviews copy orders with supervisor monthly.
• Maintains, adjusts, and performs minor repairs to assigned equipment.
• Calls for equipment repair; maintains supply inventory and resolves issues within the copy center.
• Operates a variety of equipment (e.g. copiers, binders, laminators, computer, etc.).
• Maintains an inventory of paper and supplies by submitting orders.
• Ability to use and become familiar with computers and email for work orders and communication with staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or the Superintendent.

Essential Functions of District Custodial

• Classroom & Facility Sanitation:
  Clean, sanitize, and disinfect classrooms, desks, whiteboards, cafeterias, gymnasiums, and locker rooms daily.
• Biohazard & Spill Response:
  Provide immediate, safe cleanup of biological spills (blood, vomit) and hazardous fluids using strict OSHA compliance guidelines.
• Student & School Event Support:
  Arrange and dismantle seating, tables, and equipment for assemblies, sporting events, PTA meetings, and lunch shifts.
• Building Safety & Security:
  Lock exterior gates, secure classroom windows, check door alarms, and ensure clear, ice-free fire exit paths during school hours.
• Minor School Maintenance:
  Handle quick fixes like unclogging student sinks, replacing burnt-out light bulbs, and submitting digital repair tickets for larger issues.
• Deep Summer Cleaning:
  Strip, wax, and seal hallway floors, deep-clean lockers, remove graffiti, and paint classrooms during summer and winter breaks.
• Floor Care:
  Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and polish floors, as well as shampoo carpets using heavy-duty industrial machines.
• Grounds Maintenance & Weather Prep:
  Remove snow and ice from sidewalks and entryways. Perform basic landscaping, such as mowing and weeding.
