Responsibilities
- Lead day to day activities and functions performed within the assigned shift are in accordance with the company’s business objectives, budgetary guidelines, and established safety standards.
- Manage assignments, work priorities, leadership decisions, and ensure the completion of projects in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
- Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, respect and team member satisfaction, quality hiring, training and succession planning processes.
- Works closely in mentoring and coaching direct reports with additional tasks and responsibilities to optimize advancement opportunities available for the team.
- Ensures high level of service standards for the department as well as exceptional inter‑departmental collaboration, communication and support.
- Monitor and communicate building infrastructure needs.
- Lead department emergency response plan when necessary, during such events.
- Possesses thorough computer abilities using basic Microsoft Office programs, work order management system, and building automation systems.
- Assist Facility Manager by ensuring efficient and proper operation of the department and staff during assigned shift.
- Schedule and delegate assignments to maintenance and housekeeping staff.
- Assign preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Oversee daily cleaning of the property including Casino floor, restrooms, slot machines, etc.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Six (6) months of prior experience in a similar position preferred.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
- Must be able to safely and effectively perform duties assigned.
- Must be able to carry and communicate by two‑way radio.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
