Job DescriptionThe Griswold Community School District is seeking a full‑time custodian. The primary role is to maintain a safe and clean learning environment for students and staff, including basic cleaning, sanitation, and minor maintenance of the facility.
Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks.
- Conduct minor maintenance as needed.
- Work independently and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and supplies.
- Attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are desirable.
- Paid single medical insurance.
- District‑paid life insurance.
- Retirement contributions through the Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System (IPERS).
