Full time maintenance/grounds/custodial position. Approximate July 27th start date. Hourly 12-month contract with pay based on qualifications. (Range: $18-$22/Hour). Reports directly to the Director of Buildings and Grounds. Position open until filled.

• Demonstrates a positive attitude, loyalty, cooperation, teamwork, attendance and safety.
• Maintains good public relations with students, parents, faculty, and community.
• Ability to work with interruptions frequently during a work shift.
• Ability to follow directions as well as work independently within the framework of the school environment.
• Flexible work schedule based on school need.
• Willingness to substitute for other employees.
• Ability to fulfill the physical and mental requirements of the job.
• Knowledge of Green custodial practices.
• Knowledge and ability of building maintenance and of grounds keeper duties.
• Ability to work in all 4 Iowa seasons in grounds maintenance as well as inside assignments.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment as needed.
• Within 6 months of hire willingness to obtain:

• Iowa Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.
• 7A General and Household Pest Management Certification.
• 3OT Ornamental and Turfgrass Pest Management Certification.
• CDL/Commercial Driver License with passenger endorsement.

• Must be able to pass background, child abuse and sex offender checks.
• HS Diploma.
