Maintenance Manager

Salary: $115,000-$150,000 per year

Shift: 1st –

Hours:

6:00am-4:00pm (Mon-Fri)

QPS Employment Group is offering this role. This hands‑on leadership position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys solving problems, improving equipment reliability, and making a lasting impact in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, schedule, and develop the maintenance team.
  • Manage capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate plant shutdowns and maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs and monitor equipment performance.
  • Manage department budgets, maintenance records, inventory, and CMMS (MAPCON).
  • Supervise equipment installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Partner with HR on hiring, performance management, coaching, and employee discipline.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment, materials, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs, Management of Change (MOC) procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field) but not required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of maintenance leadership experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and material handling systems.
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, pump alignment, forklifts, and maintenance management software preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, work at heights, operate maintenance equipment, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and on-call as needed.
