To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient environment in which to learn, play, and develop. He/she shall take pride in keeping the buildings and grounds safe, clean, and attractive for all occupants and visitors.

Reports to: Director of Buildings and Grounds

• Demonstrated aptitude for the successful completion of tasks
• Experience with school custodial services or the equivalent in custodial service in other institutions and/or firms
• Certificate of good health signed by a licensed physician
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving kneeling, bending, or twisting of the body; keeping or regaining balance; making repetitive motions; standing, often for extended periods of time; using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls; lifting objects weighing as much as 50‑75 pounds
• High school diploma preferred but not required

• Completes tasks as assigned both inside the buildings and out to ensure that buildings and premises are neat and clean and school operations can run in an efficient and safe manner. These tasks include but are not limited to the following:
  • Sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and dusting
  • Washing windows
  • Mowing and weed eating
  • Painting
