Full-Time.

We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Assistant to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. The role is essential for ensuring the facility's physical aspects are in proper working order, performing repair tasks, scheduling outside contractors for extensive repairs, monitoring facility equipment and maintenance schedules, and performing routine maintenance on equipment and systems. Additionally, the Maintenance Assistant may serve as a driver to transport residents to appointments as needed.

• Perform repair tasks throughout the facility.
• Assist with scheduling of outside contractors for extensive repairs.
• Monitor facility equipment and maintenance schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Transport residents to appointments as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Maintenance Assistant experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
• Unencumbered Driver's License or other motor vehicle operator license as required by the State of Iowa.
• All drivers are required by state law to have a Class D Chauffeur License or a Class C Commercial License.
• Prior Driver experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
