Hormel Foods - 1516 South D Avenue - Responsibilities:
Maintains tool room equipment regarding plates, knives and blades; performs routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and physical structures, and on the plumbing, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems;
Ensures safe and optimum functioning equipment; systems, and processes utilizing prior facility maintenance and repair experience;
Performs set up/tear down of process equipment daily;
Facility rounds to inspect and record various repairs needed;
Inspects facility safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems to insure compliance is always maintained
