Shop Foreman​/Mechanic

Communication Data Link is looking for a Shop Foreman Mechanic. This person is responsible for managing the shop floor, supervising employees, ensuring quality control, providing training to the shop employees, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

• Overseeing the operations of the shop with repairs needed
• Supervise and manage a team of technicians and mechanics by providing guidance, support and training as needed.
• Be able to work on all systems; including but not limited to brake, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel systems.
• Ensure that work is performed in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor and review the progress of work orders, ensuring that deadlines are met, and any issues or delays are promptly addressed.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed repairs to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Consult with equipment manufacturers as needed to assist with repairing equipment.
• Maintain complete service records on applicable equipment via the Company's Fleet Management software system.
• Prepare work orders and cost estimates on all projects that will require the Owner's permission prior to repairing.
• Communicate diagnoses to management to develop a repair plan and parts acquisition as needed.
• Stay on top of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills to improve shop operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid Driver's License
• Mechanical experience required 3+
• Must have own tools.
