Mechanical Maintenance Planner

CF Industries is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Planner to support the reliability and uptime of critical mechanical systems that power our advanced software and data operations. In this role, you will develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance plans for HVAC, compressors, pumps, and other facility equipment, using a CMMS to schedule and prioritize work. You will coordinate with technicians, engineers, and vendors, manage spare parts and documentation, and analyze performance data to drive reliability and safety improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance plans for mechanical equipment supporting IT operations
• Create, prioritize, and schedule work orders in the CMMS to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance
• Maintain accurate equipment records, maintenance history, and spare parts lists
• Analyze equipment performance and failure data to recommend reliability improvements
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Forecast and manage maintenance resources, materials, and contractor support
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and commissioning from a maintenance planning perspective
• Prepare maintenance reports, KPIs, and dashboards for leadership review
• Continuously refine maintenance processes and standards to improve efficiency and uptime
