Facilities Technician

As a Facilities Technician you willbe responsible for supporting the maintenance and operation of facility systems and infrastructure to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. This position provides hands-on experience in building maintenance, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility improvement projects while working alongside experienced maintenance professionals.

• Assist with routine maintenance of facility systems, plumbing, compressed air, scrap processing, and building infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
• Support troubleshooting and basic repairs of facility equipment and systems.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and maintenance areas are organized and maintained.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and facility enhancement projects.
• Respond to facility maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

• Problem solving skills necessary, with the ability to make informed decisions
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced;multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines.
• Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work overtime regularly and with minimal notice to meet business needs.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
