The ideal candidate will have some experience in custodial services, cleaning occupations and or facilities maintenance. Experience using cleaning equipment and chemicals approved for use in public facilities. Cleans using approved methods in accordance with district and industry standards. May be responsible for set-up of facilities for special events and activities. Observes, evaluates, and performs minor maintenance and reports larger repair concerns to the maintenance department.
Provides exterior grounds and building care associated with seasonal work (grass cutting, weeding,snow and ice removal). SLSD custodians promote and followall work safety guidance policies, procedures and protocols, including attending required meetings and training related to workplace safety practices and use of equipment.
Note:
Selected candidates must be able to produce valid [1] PA State Criminal Record Check (ACT 34), [2] FBI Criminal History Record Investigation (ACT 114), [3] PA DHS Child Abuse History Clearance (ACT 151). and[4] PA Arrest/Conviction Report Certification Form (ACT 24) all within one year of issueat the time of hire.
$17.20 per hour
