Janitorial Manager

Starting Date: Immediately

Holy Trinity Elementary in West Point, Iowa is looking for a full-time dependable and hardworking Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, be detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors as needed
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Refill supplies in restrooms (soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
• Wash windows, walls, and other surfaces as required
• Assist in the setup and teardown of furniture or equipment for school events
• Report any maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, safety hazards) to the appropriate personnel
• Lock and unlock doors and secure buildings after hours
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Must pass a background check in accordance with school policies

Pay commensurate with experience.
