Janitor​/Custodian

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for experienced cleaners who are willing to work full time or part time in the Columbia area. Starting pay varies by job site.

• Commercial Cleaning
• Cleans surfaces, public areas, elevators, escalators, seating areas, tables, windows, railings, floors, and restrooms
• Removal of trash can liners
• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor
• Spot cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture
• Dust furniture and equipment
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area
• Replenishes bathroom supplies
• Transports small equipment or tools
• Sweeping, dusting, mopping
  
  Role may require iOS or Android capability on personal cell phone to use quality assurance and timekeeping applications during work hours
• Other duties may be assigned

Minimum 6 months of previous cleaning experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
