ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Maintenance Tech.

The Maintenance Tech is responsible for mechanical service calls and in-house repairs throughout facility and grounds. With some supervision will perform work in more than one of the maintenance trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting. Working with contractors.

Pay: $42/HR

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Purpose Statement

* Responsible for mechanical service calls and in-house repairs throughout facility and grounds. With some supervision will perform work in more than one of the maintenance trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting. Working with contractors.

Responsibilities:

* * Performs building maintenance as required, i.e. painting, plumbing repairs, etc.

* Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on facilities equipment, i.e. air compressor, HVAC system, etc.

* Will work from rough sketches and drawings.

* Oversee contract work.

* Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and documentation in accordance with ISO, GMP, and company policies.

* Respond to facility alarms, excursions, and emergency situations, ensuring systems return to operational standards quickly. Being able to be on call and work after hours.

* Support cleanroom environmental controls, including pressure differentials, temperature, humidity, and particle monitoring.

* Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to support cleanroom operations and continuous improvement.

* Follow all cleanroom contamination control procedures, including proper gowning, sanitization, and cleaning protocols.

* Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) programs.

* Complete knowledge of the job. Applies thorough knowledge of business concepts, procedures and practices, and a complete understanding of fundamentals in a functional area, strong knowledge of HVAC system and working knowledge of other related disciplines.

Cognitive Skills Performs mostly non-routine assignments requiring basic interpretation of established procedures. Assignments require broad judgment in troubleshooting proven processes as well as the ability to suggest alternatives.

Soft Skills Customer service-oriented, with good manners and the ability to suggest alternatives. Must effectively handle tickets and maintain a professional attitude.

Consequence of Errors Errors may be difficult to detect and would normally result in loss of customer business, material, or equipment to resolve.

Contacts Contacts are frequent with individuals representing other departments, and/or representing outside organizations. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department or which may be of sensitive nature.

Qualifications:

* • At least 5 years of experience in Facilities Technician or equivalent related functions.

* • Strong knowledge of HVAC, filtration systems, and building utilities.

* • Basic understanding of electrical, fire alarm systems and control systems.

* • Familiarity with ISO 14644 cleanroom classifications and GMP regulations (preferred).
