The Hilton Irvine is looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer. The hotel is located within a few miles of Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza, and the Irvine Spectrum shopping centers. Our property features 306 guest rooms, over 22,000 square feet of event space, and 8 meeting rooms.
Wage: $21.60–$27.00
Schedule: Must be available from 9:00 am–7:00 pm, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
As an engineer, you will maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility to support outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your responsibilities include:
- Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility, including guest rooms, public space, and heart‑of‑the‑house areas.
- Respond to guest calls and team‑member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non‑functioning machinery and equipment.
- Perform a variety of preventive, repair, and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and HVAC work.
- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
- Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
- Expertise in painting and wallpaper is an extreme plus.
