Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly environment across all Flagship work sites. The employee will perform janitorial duties to keep buildings safe, sanitary, and presentable.
Responsibilities- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors using industrial equipment.
- Cleaning walls, ceilings, light fixtures, and windows; removing trash and dust.
- Washing, polishing, and replacing blinds and other furnishings.
- Removing stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals.
- Performing light seasonal tasks such as leaf raking, grass cutting, and snow removal.
- Lifting and moving furniture, boxes, and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Emptying and replacing waste bins, cleaning tables, chairs, vending machines, sink and counter areas.
- Sanitizing restrooms, refilling dispensers, and sweeping floors with disinfectant.
- Mopping tile floors, dusting overhead vents, blinds, wood furniture, and partition glass.
- Maintaining janitor’s closet and proper storage of equipment.
- High school diploma or GED. Preferably 6 months of commercial janitorial experience.
- Good listening and verbal communication skills. Ability to speak/understand English.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, sit for long periods, lift up to 40–50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must maintain a neat appearance and wear required uniform when assigned.
- Ability to attend periodic training and safety meetings.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. 6 months of commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
Work Environment & Physical DemandsFast‑paced office or shop environments with moderate noise. Exposure to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products and normal office activities. Must use safety glasses on certain tasks.
