Temporary Custodian positions are available through UCI’s internal temporary staffing department. The role may be based at the UC Irvine campus or any UCI Health facility throughout Orange County and Southern Los Angeles County.

Under the supervision of the Sr. Custodial Supervisor or Assistant Custodial Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for routine cleaning of facilities, including unskilled or semi-skilled cleaning, housekeeping, or general maintenance. Duties include daily floor care, dusting, bathroom cleaning and sanitation, kitchen cleaning, cleaning of fixtures and furniture, interior trash removal, window cleaning, and additional tasks as necessary to maintain a high level of cleanliness.

The position may be performed individually or as part of a team.

• Previous custodial, housekeeping, or related cleaning experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.

$25.00 per hour.

Positions are generally Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with occasional part‑time, weekend, and evening hours available. Temporary employees may be eligible for paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
