Under the supervision of a Senior Custodial Supervisor or Assistant Custodial Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for routine cleaning and general maintenance of facilities. Keys duties include daily floor care, dusting, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, fixture cleaning, window cleaning, and removal of interior trash. The position may be performed individually or as part of a team and may involve varying public contact depending on location and work hours.

Required:

• Previous custodial, housekeeping, or related cleaning experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Total Compensation

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

The position is a temporary assignment reporting to the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department. Interviewing and hiring are based on internal hiring needs and on how well a candidate’s experience matches the assignment requirements. Some assignments may require a health physical or a valid California Driver’s License for use of university vehicles.

Typical hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Additional part‑time, weekend, or evening hours may be available depending on the assignment.
