Porter​/Maintenance

Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities and the ability to make basic repairs. Be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of complicated tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• Ability to follow instructions
• Respond to building and cleaning requests
• Monitor lobby, corridors, elevators and stairwells for cleanliness
• Pick-up, empty and move full trash bags/containers
• Remove debris from floor
• Clean toilets/sinks as needed
• Fill paper towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers as needed
• Clean any spills as needed
• Clean common areas
• Clean fingerprints/marks from glass doors/mirrors
• Perform detail dusting, vacuuming and mopping as needed
• Follow all safety and personnel rules, policies and regulations

• Work from broad direction with limited supervision
• Work well with culturally diverse people; establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public; work well with varied and demanding people
• Communicate clearly and concisely in English, verbally and in writing
• Organize activities in order to complete tasks in accordance with priorities; address multiple demands or meet deadlines
