DescriptionFull‑time Hospital Housekeepers are needed for the 2nd Shift (3pm to 11:30pm) at City of Hope Lennar Foundation Cancer Center in Irvine, CA. Immediate offers will be extended for qualified candidates. This position includes every other weekend rotation.
Job OverviewThe Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work at any location on client premises. The individual cleans and maintains orderly facilities or locations in a health‑care campus. Responsibilities may vary among accounts depending on client requirements.
Daily Responsibilities- Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
- Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
- Post‑offer medical, background screening, and drug test required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception required.
Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
Regular exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Occasional exposure to work near moving mechanical parts. Noise level usually quiet.

The expected hourly rate for this position is $21, depending on circumstances such as applicant skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
