We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform general building and facility maintenance tasks. This role involves ensuring the safety and functionality of our work environment through routine inspections and various repair projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility maintenance, including plumbing repairs, lighting replacement, door hardware repairs, drywall patching, painting, and minor construction projects.
• Conduct routine inspections of facility systems and address maintenance needs to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
• Coordinate facility repairs and services with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
• Support grounds and exterior property maintenance, including trash removal, basic landscaping, and upkeep of outdoor areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment when required.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts; process purchase requests as needed.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of facility-related SOPs and maintenance documentation.
• Safely operate maintenance equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, power tools, and hand tools.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE use and lockout/tagout practices.
• Perform general janitorial and housekeeping tasks as needed, including cleaning work areas, unclogging drains, and supporting facility cleanliness.
• Respond to facility maintenance requests in a timely manner and support day-to-day building operations.
• Perform other facility-related duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

• 2–3 years of maintenance or facility repair experience (ideal).
• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to diagnose and solve problems.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs safely.
• Comfortable with physical tasks including kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with drywall, painting, plumbing, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with facilities repair, yard maintenance, mechanical tasks, blueprint reading, and HVAC systems.

Work Environment

You will be working in an industrial facility with standard operating hours from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The role involves physical tasks and requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
